HVAC and Building Systems

A validation-first perspective on HVAC systems.

I bring hands-on HVAC sub-assembly validation and mechanical engineering education to building systems opportunities. Experience with leak testing, pressure integrity and airflow verification informs my approach to system reliability, while I pursue PE Mechanical licensure in HVAC and Refrigeration.

Manufacturing Quality Control

Prior experience · dates to be added

Automotive / transit manufacturing

  • Validated HVAC sub-assemblies using leak testing, pressure integrity checks and airflow verification to assess assembly performance.
  • Inspected compression-molded FRP components and modeled parts in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, connecting dimensional intent with manufacturing quality.

Process Engineer

2018–2020

Hydrogen peroxide plant

  • Modeled material and energy balances in Aspen Plus, applying thermofluid reasoning to industrial process operation.
  • Monitored and optimized VDU/SRU units using DCS; contributed to distillation improvement that raised Cpk from approximately 1.14 to 1.4.

Engineer Intern 2

Current

Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development

  • Serve in an engineering role at LADOTD while pursuing PE Mechanical licensure in HVAC and Refrigeration.
