Mechanical Design Engineering

Mechanical design informed by the manufacturing floor.

I connect AutoCAD and SolidWorks modeling with practical experience in automotive and transit manufacturing quality. HVAC assembly validation and compression-molded FRP inspection give me a grounded perspective on how parts and assemblies perform beyond the drawing.

Manufacturing Quality Control

Prior experience · dates to be added

Automotive / transit manufacturing

  • Modeled components in AutoCAD and SolidWorks to support automotive and transit manufacturing work.
  • Validated HVAC sub-assemblies and inspected compression-molded FRP components using functional and quality checks.

Process Engineer

2018–2020

Hydrogen peroxide plant

  • Improved distillation process capability from approximately 1.14 to 1.4 Cpk, earning a Kaizen Award.
  • Built material and energy balance models in Aspen Plus to inform process engineering work.

Sustainable Polymer–Asphalt Systems

Ph.D. research

Louisiana Tech University · doctoral research

  • Investigated sustainable polymer-asphalt blends for a Ph.D. dissertation, developing material-level understanding relevant to polymer engineering.
  • Used molecular dynamics to study polymer-asphalt and bio-rejuvenator systems, including asphaltene aggregation.
